NISRINE AL ACHCAR BERBERI
- Holder of a Degree in Optic and Optometry she practices this profession in her own establishment under the name of “Optique Bô Yeux”.
- Nisrine obtained an award from the Syndicate of Opticians and Obtometrists in Lebanon for founding the First Pediatric Optic Center in the Middle East.
- She was honored for performing a study concerning the psychological condition of children wearing medical eye glasses.This was the first study in its kind in Lebanon and in the Middle East.
- Holder of a certificate in production, acting and fine Arts from the School of modern theater under the supervision of Mr. “Mounir ABOU DEBS” the founder of theater in Lebanon, and the painter AMER SALEM (ALBA university) , the painter JAMIL MALAEB (AUB) and the painter MARINE HAROUN (HAYDAR HAMAWI).
This school graduated many of the well known names such as: “Antoine KERBAGE”, “Raymond GEBARA” “Antoine MOLTAKA”, “Latifeh MOLTAKA”, “Nidal ACHKAR”, “Refaat TARABAY”, “Renee DEEK”, “Rida KHOURY”, “Joseph BOU NASSAR” and others.
-Nisrine is the owner of Bô YEUX (maison d`optique), Bô Z`ART (espace culturel et salle d`exposition), Pô lyclinique.
she`s also the designer of the brand "ô".
- She participated in many plays, such as:
* “The Dragon” in 2000,where she had the principal role.
* “The Wolf Hour” in 2001

* Poems of Nadia Touwayni – 2009 (In Arabic and French)
*(The Poems) – 2010 where Nisrine played with three other foreign Ladies, Italian, Belgium and French

* Nisrine wrote the play “Daftar Al 3arous”. She produced the piece in Monot Theater in 2012. The script of this play was awarded by the commendation of the censorship committee of the Lebanese General Security Directorate.
- During the year 2012 Nisrine reprinted her first book “Zaman Al Anakid”,and
published her second book under the title “my last letters I wrote to you …wrinkles on the forehead”.
* She signed this book during a big event which took place at Monot Theater on the 3rd of October 2012.
She participated in:
- Beirut 56 Arab International Book Exhibition on December 2012 @ BIEL.
-Antelias Cultural Movement Book exhibition – March 16th 2013.
- She was a guest on the majority of TV and radio stations for several times and in different programs.
She is present everyday through her voice on Radio Voice of Lebanon in a morning program written by the Great “Antoine GHANDOUR” together with the respectful colleague Ghassan ESTEPHAN.
- Nisrine made many exhibitions for her Aquarel and oil paintings
- (October 3, 2012) at Monot Theater – Achrafieh in the presence of big number of artists and cultural figures .
- (December 21, 2013) at Mtayleb.The exhibition was inaugurated by Miss Lebanon “Caren GHARAMI”.
-At “The house of Art and Culture” which Nisrine owns, where the opening was held on 1/5/2014 till 2/6/2014
- At the municipality hall in Beit Chabab during the summer of 2014.
- Nisrine participated in one of the biggest painting exhibition in Beirut at “Forum de Beirut” where most of her paintings were sold; one of them for the Minister of Culture in Lebanon Mr Gaby Layoun.
The style of her painting was highly appreciated by the cultivated people and the art community.
- During 2014, Nisrine participated in an Art Gallery for great painters in UNESCO under the patronage of the Minister of Culture in Lebanon Mr Raymond Aarayjei.
- Nisrine was chosen to represent Lebanon in Greece and she has drawn a painting in the name of her country.
- She made a SOLO painting exhibition in Bo Z’ART exhibition Center in Kornet Chehwan
- She made a SOLO painting exhibition in SARAYA AL FANN
- She participated in Al Hamra exhibition with several artists.
- She participated in MAROUF SAAD painting exhibition in Saida with several famous artists.
- She participated in an exhibition in UNESCO with several Lebanese and non-Lebanese artists it was followed by a honoring ceremony for the participants (April 2015).

“Praying letter” authors by “Fatima MCHEIK”.
Nisrine also participated in many symposiums in Lebanon and abroad with many world artists.
- Nisrine was nominated The Women of the Year for Culture by several Culture Associations.
- A book was writen by the poet, writer and critic Georges SAADE under the title of :The poet Nisrine AL ACHCAR BERBARI in the circle of question”.
This book included detailed explanations concerning her works, writings and paintings.
- Nisrine was one of the founders of “Shahrayad” Cultural movement
- she was one of the founders of the association “Beit Chabab for Art and Culture” as well.
- She is a member of a woman Association of Rabieh which takes care of charity works.
- During the year 2014, Nisrine played “Macbeth” (The role of Lady Macbeth) Shakespeare.

- Also in 2014 Nisrine started presenting a morning program which included different cultural themes such as drawing, poetry, acting, medicine and social subjects on MARIAM.TV

During the years 2014-2015:
- She was the guest of honor and a judge in the “Big challenge program” prepared by Mr. Kamal NAKHLE on Lebanon TV which gathered school students from all over Lebanon .
- During the year 2015, Nisrine presented a cultural program on Lebanon TV “ALOO NISRINE”, it was a daily live program. The Lebanese press wrote very positive comments about it.
- Her program “Zawej bi tarh el seka ” on the Radio Voice of Lebanon ranked first among similar radio programs.
- Nisrine was honored in Qatar by Al Jazira TV (under the title of “Story of Success”)
- She worked in several Lebanese and Arabic TVs
- Nisrine prepared and presented the New year’s Eve party for 2016 in which she hosted a big number of great artists in the fields of singing and painting . This episode was displayed live through 15 satellite channels
- Together with her husband: Imad BERBARI they established a permanent Art exhibition where they exposed their paintings in Bo Z’ART in Kornet Chehwan.
Many writers analyzed her work and wrote even books on Nisrine’s style, and analysed the depth in her poetry,such as Michel Saade who wrote a book titled: “Nisrine el Achkar Berbari fi da2irat el sou2al”, and Dr Antoine Bitar who wrote a book titled: “beit Chabab adwa2 3ala el tarikh”,as well as Mr Louis el Hayek’ book titled “Kamat Ounsawiya”.
- Nisrine was Honored in Rashaya el Wadei on the Independence Day where she painted live in front of the public.
During 14-15 may 2016 she was the representative and one of the organizers of the 1rst EMCO Regional Congress of Optometry.
She participated in a painting exhibition in “ARTSPACE” gallery in AKRON USA on 5,6,7 may 2016.
In New York she exhibited her paintings in “The Other Face” gallery. The opening was held on may 14 2016.
In 2015 Nisrine estabished “ the Chaikha salon of literature” at Bô ART,where she celebrated the opening ceremony with the artists and friends.The purpose of the salon was the launching of artistic events.
- In 2016 Nisrine participated in a painting exhibition in Toronto Canada during September .
- She also participated in AUB ART exhibition with many famous lebanese artists in 2016 .
- Nisrine was the first lebanese woman to be elected member of the syndicat of opticians and optometrists in lebanon 2016 - 2020 .
- Nisrine was also elected President of "the commitee of publicity, media and public relations of the syndicate of opticians and optometrists . " 2016
